About Salpy

Husband-and-wife team, Salpy and Kevork Kalaidjian, founded the Salpy brand in 2000, fusing her eye for composition with his knowledge of construction to design each collection. Together, they built the brand to reflect Salpy’s own personal style – effortlessly chic yet rooted in comfort & quality. Rather than following the fleeting trends of the moment, our timeless, artisanal styles are built with lasting quality you can see and touch. Entirely handcrafted in our boutique shoe factory in Los Angeles, our footwear is designed with patterns, shapes and materials that can be worn season after season. With lush, cushioned footbeds, our shoes conform to the shape of your foot and grow even more comfortable over time. Over the past two decades, the brand has gained an extremely loyal following of longtime Salpy customers. For the Spring/Summer 2021 season, we are introducing a new sister line to Salpy called Simply Salpy. Still designed and handcrafted in our own Los Angeles factory, Simply Salpy features alternative construction methods and materials which lend the collection to a more moderate price point. Intended to sit alongside the Salpy brand at retail, Simply Salpy is an easy-to-wear, freshly energized assortment featuring design characteristics that are reminiscent of the Salpy line.
