Making jewelry is not only therapeutic, but also helps my family monetarily as well. In 2008, I couldn't return home wearing the jewelry I left with because people kept buying my handmade items right off my body! I soon began spending most of my free time making new jewelry. In 2009, I was overwhelmed with custom orders and found it difficult to maintain my corporate job as well as make jewelry, so I took the leap and started making jewelry full time. I knew I needed 5 things to get my business up and running: courage, ambition, motivation, bravery, and acceptance; thus the name CAMBA Jewelry. Camba is an acronym for these 5 mantras.
