Aunt Starr is the best name I could ever be called. I am born and raised Texan through and through. Everything is bigger and better in Texas.... starting with our Customer Service. A Texan's smile is one of the biggest you'll ever see. I worked in the oilfield most of my life. Eight years ago I was home on a layoff and ended up getting custody of my nephew. Best decision I ever made. If the only legacy I ever leave in this life was that I got to be his parent then my life has served its purpose. He may call me Aunt Starr but it has just as much, if not more love than the word Mom. I went from traveling for work to planting roots and making a home. My steel toed boots turned into color coded tennis shoes to match the current baseball team he was on. I have put every ounce of energy I had into making sure the amount of life he had with me would hopefully would heal some of the wounds from his former life. I wasn't blessed with a present parent so I made extra sure I was present each and every day for him. We have made it to graduation from high school and he is off to college soon. I am now at a place in my life where I can redirect my undivided attention to what started as a side hustle into a small business. I prayed to God to guide me where he wants me and how I can best utilize this plethora of skills he has given me. So here we are... Sparquesha (the laser's name) and I have been busy doing things.
