About Great South Bay Candle Company

Welcome! My name is Theresa, creator and owner of the Great South Bay Candle Company. I have always loved to burn candles because they are aesthetically pleasing. Eventually I learned the candles I was burning in my home were unhealthy and full of toxins. I started making eco-friendly candles for myself and in 2013 I started the Great South Bay Candle Company. My goal was to create high quality candles that were healthier, have a wonderful aroma, burn longer, are cost effective and importantly don’t emit toxic chemicals into the air when you burn them in your home. After doing extensive research on the different varieties of waxes, wicks and fragrance oils, I chose the best eco-friendly materials. We use natural soy wax, cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrances that are blended with essential oils sourced from suppliers located within the USA. The entire Great South Bay Candle line is eco-friendly, vegan, paraffin free, dye and additive free. When you light a Great South Bay Candle, you know that you are burning a safer, cleaner candle without omitting toxins, pollutants or carcinogens into the air you breathe while enjoying our beautiful fragrances throughout your home.
