About Aaron Swank Ceramics

I am Aaron Swank, the owner and designer of Aaron Swank Ceramics. I am a graduate of Kent State University and I later worked as an artist and manager of a production studio in New York City. It was there that I reconsidered my methods and began to explore the art of slip casting. My work blends different styles that relate to my identity as a Mexican-American Latino member of the LGBTQ+ community. I pull a lot of the playfulness and color out of those roots. I bring a fun polished aesthetic that continues to grow on a weekly basis. All pieces are handmade and painted by me. My partner and I design each piece and often collaborate on collections. Everything is handmade in Cleveland and cast in porcelain. Read their story
