About Modelia

Modelia is an eco-conscious textile brand located near Lakefield, Ontario. Each of our works is hand-dyed in small batches using botanical colors, natural fibers and a blend of contemporary and traditional dyeing and printing techniques. We do not use harmful chemicals in our dye processes, instead we achieve a rich colour palette from plants - blues from indigo leaves, yellows from marigold flowers, browns from walnut husks, pinks from avocado pits. We follow a slow fashion philosophy. All of our products are made in small batches at time of order and use the highest quality fabrics, with special emphasis on linen, organic cottons and renewable, eco-friendly fibres.
