About smaints

When Tim Ferris said “I was lit like a Christmas tree” in his podcast about the Cordyceps mushroom, our interest was piqued. As biohackers, we are always on the lookout for natural and healthy things. But why had we never heard of the incredible effects of medicinal mushrooms before? This is how a long journey into the kingdom of mushrooms, which was still unknown to us at the time, began... That was in 2017, at a time full of stress and uncertainty: studying, part-time job, first self-employment. Our need for health, energy and stress resistance grew. As a result, we also came into contact with alternative practitioners, trainers and experts. We are Christian Jung and Maximilian Endter — the founders of smaints. We want to make the great potential of medicinal mushrooms suitable for everyday use and bring their effects to Europe and the world. We are often asked what medicinal mushrooms are: magic mushrooms, edible mushrooms...? No! Medicinal mushrooms are health-related, nutrient-rich mushrooms. Their use has thousands of years old tradition and the effects have been proven by numerous studies. Our brand “smaints” comes from “small saints”, that is, little saints. That was already the name given to fungi in the Aztecs due to their health potential.
