Melville Ceramics is a small-batch, female-owned studio based in Durham, North Carolina, founded by artist Kelsey Melville. Using hand-built techniques such as slabs, coils, and carving, Melville creates functional and sculptural ceramic forms that celebrate process, color, and imagination. Natural clay bodies provide an earthy foundation for lively, hand-painted underglaze designs inspired by nature and a childlike sense of wonder.
