About Vanessa’s Essence Natural Hair Care

Vanessa, a typical young girl who lived in a Florida suburb, became one of the thousands of American youth who was subjected to bullying. But, with the bullying came something unexpected, encouragement and support from friends and strangers. In reaction to the experience, Vanessa’s mom was inspired to do something positive for other girls. There is also a gap in the availability of natural hair care products for girls that highlight and strengthen naturally coily, curly, wavy, and kinky textured hair. And so, Vanessa’s Essence Hair Care was created. The Company’s goal is to encourage young girls to love themselves and be who they are naturally. We also want to help stop bullying by starting conversations that raise awareness of the serious consequences of bullying and provide encouragement and resources to help young girls with their confidence and self-esteem.Read their story
