Welcome to Soothing Essence De Luz! An online botanical boutique that carries all handmade, natural, plant-based products for your everyday aromatherapy bath and body, essential spa needs. Based in the heart of Niagara Falls, NY, Soothing Essence De Luz was founded in 2021 by yours truly, Luz Rosa. During the pandemic of COVID-19, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with psoriasis (A skin disorder marked by red, itchy, and scaly patches). This disease made it very difficult for her to apply any product on her skin, such as hand sanitizers, lotions, including soap, due to the chemicals found in these everyday products. I watched her suffer and cry as she endured the burning and irritating sensation after sanitizing her hands to avoid the spread of any germs obtained from touching surfaces due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Heartbroken by her situation, I made it my goal to find a homeopathic plant-based recipe to formulate a product that she would be able to use to disinfect, clean, and moisturize her skin with a soothing effect. After months of extensive research, testing recipes, formulating products and having my mother-in-law enjoy the benefits from cleaner & safer alternatives without irritating her skin, I decided to open up for business. In hopes of introducing healthier skincare alternatives to others in search of the same.
