Dallas Caramel Company is a small batch, artisanal candy company that specializes in super soft, won't stick to your teeth caramel. We offer a variety of products from individually wrapped caramel candy, TxTurtles, to caramel pretzels, and more! Rain McDermott started the Dallas Caramel Company in 2007 to satiate her curiosity: could she make delicious caramel that would satisfy her sweet tooth? While her dentist did not approve of her fixation with sweets, her friends and family did and encouraged her to introduce her perfectly creamy and soft caramel candy to residents of Dallas and beyond. Making caramel takes precision, patience, the freshest ingredients, hard work, determination, some creative experimentation—and a good candy thermometer! Dallas Caramel Company proudly delivers a diverse range of 12 flavors, including Sea Salt, Orange, Cinnamon, Marshmallow, Espresso, TX Drunken Nut (Texas Whiskey & Texas Pecans), Pumpkin, Bacon, Apple Pie, Chocolate, Lemon Meringue, and traditional Original.
