From the moment Kara Brook Brown, an artist who paints with the unique medium of beeswax, became a beekeeper, she knew she had found something special. With 102 acres of beautiful land facing the Chesapeake Bay, she created a haven for honeybees and discovered the true harmony between art, nature, and sustainability. In 2013, she unveiled Waxing Kara, a brand that epitomizes the harmonious connection between art, nature, and sustainability. Fast forward to today, and Kara's vision has expanded to encompass the broader Bee Inspired brand. We're proud to be stocked nationwide in resorts, spas, boutiques, and specialty stores.
