It was 1965 when Giovanni Caracciolo and Caterina Laganà started a small laboratory for production of almond paste. The Amandula Caracciolo laboratory, founded in Brancaleone, in South of the Ionian coast of Reggio Emilia, specializes in production of almond paste, beverages made from almond, dried fruit-based spreads, truffled dried fruit and semi-finished products for ice cream and the pastry shop.
