Hi! My name is Christy and I am the owner and creator of Beach Babe. In 2015, I quit my biologist job to start my company because I wanted to provide a healthy, zero waste, and natural/environmentally friendly product. I am a vegan mom to an adopted son and 2 rescue mutts. I live in Bath, Ohio which is an old town near Akron. When I'm not working, one of my favorite things to do is take long walks in the surrounding parks. I love being close to nature! Beach Babe shampoo and conditioner bars are made with wholesome ingredients that leave your hair naturally shiny and healthy. The best part is that there is no waste afterwards! I wrap my bars in a plant based envelop with a sugar cane sticker that can be home compostable. I only use the best oils, including the top of the line essential oils, extra virgin coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter. The shampoo bars are approximately 3 ounces and last for about 5 months. The conditioner bar is approximately 1.7 ounces and is made to last the same time as the shampoo bar, even a little bit longer. All my bars are handmade, vegan, and cruelty free. My bars are an actual shampoo bar (not a soap bar) that washes out clean and helps repair damage. My conditioner bars also rinse clean, without any build up of any kind. My bars leave your hair soft, naturally shiny, full of volume, and manageable. As one of my customers said "my hair was suddenly the kind of hair I always wanted but could never have."
