About Munk Pack

Our “healthy” version of the American diet made us chronically tired and pre-diabetic. We barely ate junk food. We were athletes trained to drink sports hydration drinks and eat low-fat, not realizing we were guzzling glucose and corn syrup. We ate heavily from the bottom of the recommended “food pyramid” in addition to fruits and veggies. And yet, we still ended up insulin-resistant. By our late 20s, we were exhausted from decades of excessive sugar consumption. It was time for a lifestyle overhaul. We’d had enough of fighting fatigue with caffeine. Eliminating sugar and highly processed foods from our lives has been transformative. During our sugar awakening, we started making no-added-sugar snacks with whole food ingredients in our kitchen. Since then, it has been an exciting journey to scale our recipes and bring 1g sugar snacking to households across the country.
