About Up Line: The Inner Tube Wallet Company

Hi, I'm Donovan owner of the Up Line and I handcraft upcycled wallets and accessories from discarded inner tubes. Functional minimalist wallets with sustainable design and production. This has been my full-time gig since 2009. So a dozen years of working with tubes, thousands of wallets made, and more than a few hard lessons earned. Through all this, I've learned to better take advantage of the unique strengths of my materials. Each tube is sorted for best use and choice pieces are sewn into well-tested patterns. This makes for durable, functional, and eye-catching wallets. When outside of the studio, you can find me at my retail shop, Upcycled on the Hip Strip in Missoula, Montana USA. There, I feature my work, along with the work of over 50 other upcycling artists. Through Upcycled and the Up Line, I've been able to introduce countless people to new ideas in sustainable living through ethical creation and consumption.Read their story
