Founder Sarah Sumbera began quilting in 2017 and quickly discovered the joy and fulfillment that comes from turning fabric into something lasting and meaningful. What started as a personal pastime soon grew into a full-fledged passion that led her to join Moda Fabrics as a sales representative, where she gained invaluable insight into the quilting industry and the needs of quilt shops and makers alike. Drawing on those experiences, Sarah began designing patterns that combine simplicity with beauty — pieces that are approachable to create yet striking when finished. Each Copper Kettle Quilt Co. design reflects her signature style: bright and cheerful palettes, subtle retro influences, and a timeless appreciation for classic quilt blocks. Based just northwest of Houston, Texas, Sarah’s creative world is shared with an assortment of beloved animals and endless inspiration.
