About Miss Bespoke Papercuts

Miss Bespoke Papercuts was set up in 2014 by Aimee Richards, a former lingerie designer turned paper cut illustrator who lives in Portsmouth, UK. My eclectically bold paper goods all originate from from my hand paintings and are mixed typography created from my hand cut paper cut alphabet. I'm a little bit of a rebel so all of my paintings are mixed from pencil, watercolour and gouache, which I then scan in to create products from in the form of bright wall art and luxury fine art cards. The inner paper liners of my cards are only glued at the top so that they create shadowing and each colour has been chosen carefully to give it a 'pop!'. My ethos is to try and create cards that can be kept as mini-pieces of wall art, therefore making them more sustainable as keepsakes. My Christmas cards have been featured in British magazines such as Homes and Gardens and LivingEtc and my June birthday card was featured in the NotOnTheHighStreet advert for Youtube.
