About SUNSET CEMENT

Yien is the desinger, maker and marketer of Sunset Cement. She immigrated to Canada in 1980 with her parents and sibblings. She went into the work force from the age of 15 years and was one of the first of her family to acheive a degree in secondary education. Her whole working life was about making a living to survive and she had only known to work hard at any position and any field. Only as an adult in the pandemic was when she accidentally found her creative passion. She had always been a crafter of sorts from a young age but when she got her hands on concrete, there is no limits to her creative work. Read their story
