Proof Eyewear was founded in 2010 by the Dame Brothers. Since then, the company has continued to grow and expand, going from garage to global in just under a decade. Proof has become the pioneers in sustainable eyewear. Proof provides handcrafted products made from sustainable materials including sustainably-sourced wood, biodegradable cotton-based acetate, and recycled aluminum. Proof stands firm on the principles of Sustainability and Giving Back. Proof was featured in the Shark Tank episode 417. With offers from multiple Sharks, the founders chose to pass and sustain organic growth. Proof embraces the idea of being global citizens by doing good around the world.The bird logo represents the belief that “Everyone has wings to fly, some just need a little help.”Proof's efforts in helping others have affected people from Idaho to the other side of the world. In 2021, Proof refocused its give-back initiatives to planting 5 trees for every frame sold through the Eden Reforestation Project. As 2023 begins, Proof is looking to expand their touch on give-backs through local outreaches as well as international initiatives. As Proof continues to grow and expand, the headquarters remain and operate out of Boise, Idaho, USA. Proof partnered with a regional retailer, Nomad, and proudly collaborates in Proof’s flagship store located in Downtown Boise.
