Plamb was born from a family recipe of the 1970s, kept and refined over time until it became a project that unites memory, territory and craftsmanship. It all starts from a narrow stretch of the Calabrian Ionian coast, between Locri and Reggio Calabria, a unique terroir where bergamot and other citrus fruits express the highest concentration of essential oils. The peels are harvested and peeled by hand at the exact moment of their aromatic ripeness, processed within 48 hours and infused separately to preserve their identity and intensity. The name Plamb encloses the five souls of the liqueur: grapefruit for the bitter note, lemon for freshness, orange for sweetness, tangerine for delicacy and bergamot for fragrance. Each year the recipe is rebalanced according to the natural variation of the essential oils, making each production faithful to its origin yet never standardized. Plamb is the liqueur of Mediterranean conviviality, born to close family meals and today reinterpreted for a contemporary audience.
