About Coreyartus Imagery

Coreyartus Imagery is about making beautiful things that positively remind us that the world is a wonderful place.  Sometimes simple & quiet, sometimes fraught with tension, sometimes magical or nostalgic – these storytelling moments help us feel and see and experience perspectives that are both outside ourselves and intimately familiar at the same time. It's all about creating empathy.  Which is important in today's world.  Really important. Based out of Eureka, California, Coreyartus Imagery features the art of Corey Johnston, an independent artist illustrator making his own handmade items using his own art. Corey has a MFA in Theatre, where he honed his art skills over time doing theatre costume renderings and teaching higher education over the course of 23+ years. All items are painted by hand in Procreate without any assistance from AI-image generators. They are then printed, packaged, and posted in-studio by the artist himself.
