About Thyme and Sage Home Textiles

Thyme and Sage was founded by four friends who believe that kitchen textiles are essential tools for the home. Based in Portland, Oregon, Carmel designs our textiles—from initial concepts and yarn quality to the final weaving and finishing. David manages our photography, marketing, and online store. In Denizli, Turkey, Hakan and Mehmet work directly with our mill to bring these designs to life in a region renowned for world-class craftsmanship. Together our mission is to create beautiful textiles that are as stylish as they are functional. As people who love to host, cook (and also have to clean) we wanted to develop products that are hardy, well-made, and easy to care for.
