About Aeris Candle Company

Aeris began as a question: Why do so many candles smell good… but feel forgettable? From a home workshop in Indiana, we set out to build something different—candles composed with the curiosity of perfume and the discipline of science. Each blend is developed using a structured framework of tension, hierarchy, and time, where scent is treated not as a static object, but as an evolving experience. We don’t believe in “balanced” fragrances. We believe in authority—a clear leading note supported by others that know their place. We believe in tension—the quiet friction between elements that makes a scent worth returning to. And most importantly, we believe a candle should feel inevitable in hindsight, but surprising at first encounter. Every Aeris candle is hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax and carefully selected clean fragrance oils. But materials are only the beginning. What sets Aeris apart is how those materials are composed—often bridging unlikely scent families (marine with wood, citrus with resin, floral with green bitterness) to create fragrances that don’t rely on sweetness or nostalgia. The goal is not to smell like something you already recognize. The goal is to become something you want to smell again. We care deeply about restraint. About craft.
