I am Rebekah, a full-time resin/mixed media artist. I like to create with locally sourced wood found along Lake Superior's shores and woods to create distinctive northern art. Many of my recent pieces I have incorporated birch bark from downed tree. I flattened it and then it is followed by many many layers of resin. For my wall art, I love to incorporate driftwood that I found beachcombing the north shore. After the resin and wood cures, I cut each piece by hand on my scroll saw. This technique gives me the flexibility for the various characteristics of every creation. I pour hundreds of resin pieces each year. Every singe pour has a different result thanks to the curious nature of resin and its unique properties. There is a bit of wonder in every work of art. I also do wholesale art with the use of my laser, it is an excellent tool for speed and consistency for orders to be completed efficiently and successfully. Read their story
