About Moke Hill Nuts and Candies

Moke Hill is a town of about 500 people in Calaveras County in California’s Gold Country, which is quickly becoming California’s Gold and Wine Country. A few years ago, our local historic hotel, the Hotel Leger, was featured on the Travel Channel’s “ Hotel Impossible.” The locals got together with the show’s hosts and producers and “saved” the hotel (you can still watch the episode on their website.). We were very lucky to have had that opportunity, because, since then, Moke Hill Nuts and Candies has blossomed. The products at Moke Hill Nuts and Candies are of the finest quality and packed in small batches. All of our products are produced in the Central Valley and Sierra Nevada foothills region.
