Sometime in 2017, laying in savasana in the back row of a steamy yoga class in Southern California top to bottom drenched in sweat after an amazing workout, the idea for Uplevel Athletics sparked into my brain. I love yoga, I really love yoga, hot yoga actually. I loved yoga so much that I completed my training to become an instructor. But I had this problem. Like most people, I would get really sweaty during my hot yoga class and my expensive yoga gear would turn basically into a 1 person slip-n-slide. That sweaty unforgettable day in 2017 the idea struck me that there should be yoga pants with silicone grips on the outside designed to prevent that slippage. So that when you’re in the zone and ready to chase your edge to Uplevel, your gear actually supports you and doesn't work against you.
