About Uisge Source

There are only 2 rules for drinking whisky...Rule 1...Never take Whisky without Water.....Rule 2....Never Take Water without Whisky ! These are the words of a famous Scottish Entertainer and whisky fan and of course there are no rules. But many experts say the best way to appreciate a whisky is to add a dash or a few drops of water, ideally from the same source as the whisky. These words of wisdom and my experience of working for some highly respected Scottish Whisky distilleries including Glemmroangie, Ardbeg, Dalmore and Isle of Jura inspired me to create Uisge Source.......spring waters bottled especiailly for adding to whisky. Whisky already has a wonderful array of complex aromas and flavours that deserve to be appreciated so what could be better than pure, clear spring water to open them up. Uisge Source ( oosh -guh ) bottles spring waters from Distilleries and also from the Scotch Whisky Regions: Hard, high-mineral spring water from the Highland Whisky Region; Soft, low-mineral spring water from the Speyside Whisky Region; and spring water from the Islay Whisky Island which is higher in natural acidity.
