About Let's Jess Doodle

Hi! I'm Jess, owner of Let’s Jess Doodle. Most of my work consists of whimsical designs for book lovers. Growing up, I struggled with learning how to read; thankfully with extra help from some amazing teachers, I grew to love reading. Today combining my love of books and art has been such a fun journey for me. My educational background consists of studio art classes as I have my bachelor's degree in Art. Following my undergrad studies I worked to obtain a professional degree in Elementary Education. After completing student teaching I taught art for K-12 for the majority of my teaching career as well as 3rd grade and Kindergarten. After teaching for 10 years I stepped down in 2022 from full-time teaching to focus on my artwork and raising my daughter. I also have work experience in the art gallery business, as an art instructor and in gallery management. A lot of my background in art and education inspires me every day and I hope you see that in my artwork! Read their story
