Academy (aka The GOAT Series) brings the greatest athletes of all time to life as lovable goat characters in a world of humans, inspiring kids through fun, brilliantly illustrated stories. The idea first came to me years ago: children’s books about iconic sports moments like Michael Jordan’s game-winning shot in the 1998 NBA Finals or Tom Brady’s legendary comeback against the Falcons. The twist? The heroes would be goats in a world of humans. But it stayed just an idea—until my son was born. I bought him a dozen sports biographies, and none of them connected. The illustrations weren’t engaging, and the stories weren’t built for young kids.
