About Dirt Don't Hurt
We are a sister owned, all natural activated charcoal company focused on detoxification through oral care + beauty and body care. Our products are formulated to enlighten the senses and invigorate your soul. We believe that providing amazing products that are vegan , cruelty free and handmade with love out of earth clays, essential oils and herbs are the ultimate way to detox. Our company was born out of the necessity. One of our founders fell very ill and couldn't get any answers from traditional doctors as to what her ailment was...finally a year later she was diagnosed with Lyme disease....after a month of antibiotics with no real results, she took matters into her owns hands and started researching how she could detox her body and renew herself. Discovering how activated charcoal had been used for thousands of years all over the world to detoxify the body she knew she had to incorporate it into her life. She started making her own personal care products and DDH was born.
