About Holmsted Fines

I fell in love with chutney, also known as the oldest condiment in the world, in 2002 when I moved to England to do volunteer work. England and the English way of life became of part of me right away. Culinary school was the obvious next step. Le Cordon Bleu base in London was the prefect fit. Once I returned to the states I wanted to translate some of those components of the food lifestyle that I become so fond. Chutney, a British staple since the Raj Period 1858. Today chutney is more common in England than ketchup in American. The beauty of chutney is that made the proper way is a naturally low sugar product that is fruit based. Chutney is extremely versatile and customers find it unique in that it can be used on meats, cheeses, legumes, desserts, and even cocktails. In addition to trying to expose the US to this amazing product, Holmsted Fines is committed to giving back.
