About Rebecca Buchanan

Hello! I'm Rebecca, an illustrator and printmaker based in West Yorkshire. My practice combines traditional analogue techniques—such as painting, collaging, and printmaking—with digital processes playing with colour and shapes to create joyful, character-driven designs and risograph printed greeting cards. All Cards are designed and Risograph printed by me in my studio in West Yorkshire. Riso printing is an energy-efficient and sustainable printing method, the printer uses natural inks and paired with 250gsm Cyclus Offset White 100% Recycled Paper, making for an ethical product. Riso inks create a unique tactile texture due to them being translucent, which makes them great for experimenting with colour overlapping.Read their story
