The founder of PerlaCuir, Carine Ntamag, has always been driven by the desire to create a project that goes beyond the mere commercial framework. Early on, she understood that entrepreneurship could be a powerful tool to connect cultures, build bridges between people, and highlight skills too often made invisible by traditional industrial circuits. After several years of professional experience, Carine felt the need to build a brand that reflects her deep values: respect, transmission, authenticity, responsibility, and aesthetics. It was during a trip to Kenya that this intuition took shape. Discovering the meticulous work of local artisans, particularly in the Maasai communities and women's cooperatives specializing in leather, sisal, and beading, Carine was deeply moved. She observed patient hands sewing each bead one by one, focused gazes, precise gestures transmitted since childhood. Here, nothing is automated.
