SYLVECO Company, founded in 1992 by Stanislaw Piela, Sylveco is the internationally acclaimed natural and organic skin and body care line and the leading natural beauty brand based in Poland. Sylveco was conceived when the late Mr. Piela created a skin cream using betulin or birch tree bark extract. Its healing properties on a variety of skin concerns including eczema and inflammation became the basis of its array of natural, plant-based skincare solutions. After Mr. Piela’s passing, his son Radoslaw Piela assumed leadership of the brand which expanded with a steadily growing number of products that drew more raves from both consumers and the beauty industry. Sylveco and its success is due in large part to being created in Europe’s fastest growing nation in cosmetics production - Poland. The country’s long tradition of respecting and valuing nature and its bounties has kept its farming and health related industries mostly reliant on naturally growing food and medicinal remedies. From childhood on, the average Polish person is aware of the benefits of herbs and plants and how to use them in daily routines.
