I am Paméla Didier, the creator of Têt Maré. Four years ago, I designed my first Têt Maré with the aim of styling my hair quickly and avoiding being late due to my failed morning alarms (which are far too frequent, let's admit it!). Têt Maré is much more than just a hair project. It is a tribute to my heritage, my origins, and my culture. The brand's name comes from the Creole "Maré Tèt," which was used by freed slave women to rebel against the Tignon law and show their independence by wearing colorful and voluminous headscarves. Speaking of heritage, it's a family affair! My grandmother is my favorite photo model, and my mother is an outstanding seamstress.
