About the Collection: With an emphasis on light catching texture in modern silhouettes, Rain City Forge makes classic, easy to wear, versatile jewelry. The collection is entirely designed in-house and handforged in the USA from materials including silver, vermeil, 18k gold & gold filled for jewelry along with copper & brass for homewares. Select collections also feature thoughtfully chosen gemstones and hand-applied powder-coating. Looking for something slightly different? About the Maker: Born & raised in Washington state with family roots in Hawaii, Adia Mei Jun Bobo is a mixed-heritage Blasian artist who grew up dabbling in creative projects led by her Mom, Popo (Grandmother) & Aunty. After working in baking + pastry, retail management & professional sales, she picked up a torch & hammer in 2008 & fell in love with the jewelry studio. She began Rain City Forge in 2010 & currently works out of her Seattle area studio. In 2022, Adia opened CITRINE design shop in the cutest little mountain town of Issqauah WA. Her small team assists with customer care on both the retail and wholesale side, while also assisting with production of the collection. Read their story
