About PEKOCKO

Pekocko is a Franco-Slovenian brand created in 2015. Since then, we have been creating gourmet artisanal chili sauces. Passionate about cooking and taste (a bit spicy, you guessed it), we were a bit surprised by the fact that in France, a country of gastronomy, a chili lover had only the choice between Espelette pepper (which for us is not strong enough) and sauces that are too vinegary and/or too salty or sweet. And that's how, let's make this short for you, that a Slovenian chef, an artistic director of Serbian origin and who lived in Gers, a Normandy Swiss Army knife, found themselves developing a range of spicy, unfermented sauces. From growing chilies to creating labels, we do everything ourselves. We are artisans and proud to be so. Our sauces are made from fresh chilies, without artificial additives or preservatives. All the ingredients used in our bottles are grown within a radius of 50 km around the workshop (except avocado, mango and some spices). Our sauces are cooked with passion and above all for a very long time: we confit our fruits, transform our tomatoes into sauce and our plums into jam... and then we add chili. That's hours of work.
