Our story began when Claudio De Pasquale, a young graduate in optics and optometry, decided to get involved in the world of “handmade”, starting to design and produce eyeglasses and frames. Fascinated by the idea of being able to create a unique and personalized product, he buys the first tools necessary for the milling and tumbling of acetate and learns to take advantage of 3D modeling programs. So, starting from scratch, he sets up a production laboratory inside a room on the ground floor of his home in Bari, creating the first prototypes. It wasn't easy, considering the centuries-old tradition of eyewear; one step at a time and Claudio's vision became reality. This is how 'Lussier' was born: a word born from nothing but which gives voice to the boundless fringes of imagination and to the power of 'self-made'. 'Lussier' is not just a brand.
