About Savonnerie du Larzac

Initiated 15 years ago by a project enthusiast, the Savonnerie du Larzac is the result of values closely linked to the local terroir. Alongside this story, Yohann fell in love with this region 4 years ago and, enchanted by the soap factory and its forgotten secrets, decided to give it a new life. Driven by shared positive energies, the Savonnerie du Larzac is reborn by offering a boutique-workshop where the public can savor the scents and breathe in the artisanal know-how, by making soaps with sheep's milk and butter. Naturally moisturizing, these ingredients represent the south-Aveyron region, also known for its famous Roquefort cheese, made from the same sheep's milk. Over time, several local recipes are initiated, working mainly with local suppliers, both for essential oils and herbs used in the different soaps.
