Leatherworkers since 1967 The “Frederic T.” brand was born, like many great leather goods stores, in a family business, where know-how has already been passed on for three generations. As early as 1967, my grandfather took a close interest in the leather goods sector, seeing it as a promising market. He started at the bottom of the ladder, learning all the basics of French creation, in order to understand and master the various techniques of custom work. Thus, he was able to transmit to his son, this rich heritage which is love and the art of leather. It was after a dozen years that my father opened his own workshop in the heart of the Marais, in Paris. Based on its experience, it was in 1989, when leather goods were in full expansion, that my family created and registered the famous French brand “Frederic T.” It was a real economic boom in this booming sector. It was necessary to react and embark on a new adventure. The first “Frederic T” store was opened in 1998 in Paris, the capital of fashion.
