About TISU

TISU is created to support every mother's unique breastfeeding journey. TISU is the dream of a young mother from Helsinki, Finland to encourage all mothers to breastfeed anywhere, anytime. TISU was founded in 2020 by Kati, a mother to a little boy: “When my first born came along, I found myself facing the new challenges of everyday motherhood. Public breastfeeding brought its own challenges and I found myself constantly looking for somewhere peaceful to nurse my baby; or I worked with cloths. I quickly grew tired of this, and decided to try something new; so, I came up with TISU. Thanks to TISU, public breastfeeding became a peaceful moment for me and my baby and whenever I’m not using TISU for breastfeeding, it can be used as a handy sunshade for the stroller."Read their story
