About JD & Company

JD & Company is the creation of sisters Maree Elizabeth DeBuse and Marilynn DeBuse White. This all started with a simple idea for Geaux Fish card games that are centered around the state of Louisiana and LSU. Somehow this simple idea grew too more than just a couple of card games some have even commented that this project has a life of items own. Some may wonder where JD & Company comes from. Well, it is simple, JD stands for our father Jimmy DeBuse, who was very influential in our lives. You see my love for cards along with my love of the water, boats, fishing, and more importantly my love for my family come from my daddy, Jimmy DeBuse. As a child, we played a many of games of cards. His belief in teaching us to play cards was two-fold. One it taught you how to play with others and secondly it taught you how to the play game. We played Go Fish, Battle, Old Maid, just to name a few but probably his favorite game to teach us was Solitaire when we were old enough to understand the concept and rules of Vegas Style Solitaire. To him that was the only way to play Solitaire any other version is considered cheating. So, it is only fitting to name this division JD & Company and the first games are “Go Fish” style card games.
