The brand celebrates the colorful fairytale art of Yuri Vasnetsov(1900-1973), who was a Russian artist and illustrator, and his family, bringing happiness through cheerful images to everyday life. Playful characters in bright backdrops bring color and smiles to everyday life. Kapelki Art was founded in England by Yuri Vasnetsov’s youngest granddaughter, Galina. She grew up admiring her family's artistic heritage and always dreamed about giving these special images a new life. In 9 years Kapelki Art’s collection has grown and now includes ranges with Yuri Vasnetsov’s artwork; his daughter’s, Elizaveta’s; and Galina’s own illustrations. All products are made in the United Kingdom. All cards and envelopes are made from FSC certified paper, almost all Kapelki Art cards are printed on board made with recycled coffee cups fibre.
