Sporting Traditions is our tag line. To us, Sporting Traditions means time outdoors, hunting or fishing with friends and family. Some of the traditions that bring me the most joy are Labor Day dove hunting, opening weekend at our deer camp, annual fishing trips, & our yearly duck hunts after Christmas. These are some of the traditions that bring me the most joy. Your traditions may be different. Your favorite family traditions may be pig pickin’s, oyster roasts, the yearly summer vacation at the coast, or time spent at the family farm. Some of your fondest memories may be going to football games in the fall or playing golf on the weekends with your Dad. Sporting is also defined as “to wear or display”. Whatever your traditions may be, Brown Dog will help you “sport” them in a refined manner. To our company, Traditions are a throwback to when things were actually made in the United States. Our part of the country is rich in textile heritage. Today our area’s textile industry is vastly different than it was a generation ago. We’re committed to continuing this textile tradition, to employ those in our community, invest in state-of-the-art equipment, and prove a U.S. hosiery company can thrive and compete with anyone in the world.
