About KWOLA

Inspired by a handmade keepsake from my Grandmother Mimi, KWOLA® was born out of my craving for connection. During a period of soul searching, I began to draw inspiration from my family, especially the moments that gathered us around a table together. Mimi’s table never had any open real estate, and it was obvious she cherished what cooking represented - love, health and most importantly, community. This journey began in 2018 and involved a seemingly never-ending valley. I hit every obstacle possible (including a global pandemic), but my deep desire to create something that brought people together kept me going. What was once a distant longing has now become a reality. I'm so grateful to finally share this gift with the world and help others cultivate their authentic community.
