Cheeky Bee started back in 1999 with a futile search for pure beeswax candles. Beeswax was not readily available, at the time, but for the odd roadside stand of a local beekeeper or at a farmers' market. After much R & D and thousands of hours of testing, we came up with the perfect wick that offered the perfect burning experience (never underestimate the value of a wick). Like everything else, candles have evolved. Today, there are more waxes, fragrances, & colours than ever before; however, despite all of that, beeswax stands above all else for its superior, clean burn, its sweet, subtle honey scent and a flame that is unmatched. Cheeky Bee continues in a long tradition by hand making our candles: each candle is hand dipped, dripped, poured or filled. We know that there is no finer burning candle anywhere, which is why we say: our candles are the candle lovers candle.
