Cate's Concepts began in May 2018 after I was laid off from a coding job. Needing a way to support my family, I started selling handmade earrings at local farmers markets. Within three months, a retailer approached us about carrying our products, and our first wholesale partnership was born. What started as a single market booth has grown into a business that attends shows across the country and supplies retailers nationwide. Today, we offer more than 2,000 unique designs, along with ornaments, fundraising programs, and custom creations. All of our products are designed, cut, assembled, and hand-painted in-house. Our earrings are lightweight and feature hypoallergenic, nickel-free ear wires for comfortable everyday wear. One of the things that makes us different is how we create new products. At our very first farmers market, customers began suggesting designs they wanted to see. That inspired a policy we still use today: if someone suggests a design we can add to our catalog, we'll make them two pairs for the price of one. Because of that program, nearly 70% of our designs originated from customer ideas. We stand behind our work with a lifetime guarantee.
