We’re Purnell—proudly women-owned, family-run, and here to outfit the Movers and the Makers. Led by sisters Brita Womack and Dagny Dehlsen (that's us in the photo on the right c. 1970), we believe in a pretty radical concept: invisible excellence. Here’s the truth: Most brands want you to think about their clothes all day. We’d honestly prefer you forget you’re wearing ours. Because if you’re tugging at a collar, fighting a stiff seam, or wondering if your shirt can handle the day, you aren’t focused on the good stuff. And seriously, don’t you have better things to worry about? We design apparel that shows up, does its job, and gets out of the way. It’s about having the "right tools"—a lesson passed down from our namesake and grandmother, Francis Purnell (shown in photo, far right). Our pieces act as a seamless bridge between your worlds, transitioning effortlessly from a morning strategy meeting to a weekend on the trail without missing a beat.
