Las Mediterraneas emerged from a passion for the Mediterranean, its culture, and its traditions. Behind the brand Las Mediterraneas is Andreia Pantana, a passionate and creative designer. Born in Lisbon with Italic Hispanic roots, she grew up alongside the beaches and nature of the Sintra area, an idyllic place full of history. In her youth, she built her own vision of fashion and developed the savoir-faire in the footwear sector with her paternal grandfather. In Cervera del Rio Alhama / La Rioja, known as the cradle of the espadrille, after years of learning with the best artisans in the area, the first models of espadrilles were born.
